Our Story
Dolphin Com Ltd was established in 1999 to offer discounted phone calls to businesses compared to traditional suppliers such as British Telecom. We quickly realised that while most telecom companies concentrated on offering discounts to ‘outbound-call’ customers, many businesses were still being grossly overcharged for inbound calls to 0800 FREEphone numbers.
Recognising that there was an opportunity to save business customers money on these services, we were the first company in the UK to launch a website offering discounted 0800 FREEphone, 0845 Local Rate and 0870 National Rate Numbers. This gave businesses the facility to view and then order from 1000’s of numbers on our online database. Nearly 12 years on we currently provide Inbound Call Solutions to over 4,500 business customers throughout the UK.
In 2002 we also started providing ‘Live Online Call Statistics’ on every Telephone Number, enabling our customers for the first time to analyse how efficient they were at dealing with inbound calls, often valuable sales enquires. These Call Statistics included Unanswered and Engaged calls, and highlighted a startling fact...
